The Fall piece featured here was created using a grape vine wreath in 18” diameter, 2 faux pumpkin picks, a stem of pampas grass and 1 faux pick of greenery, all from Hobby Lobby.
Approximately, every other week, Hobby Lobby runs a sale on their seasonal, faux and dried greenery. I check their weekly ad before making the trip and I stock up on materials. Most of the greenery and pampas grass can be used year round for a neutral vibe.
The only other supplies needed would be a glue gun.
I place the large pick pieces first, they could be on the side, the bottom or all of the way around the wreath. A popular style for 2021 is to the side or only the bottom portion of the wreath.
Once I like the placement of the faux or dried picks, I pull them off and start from scratch, gluing each layer. Reassemble the layers as you originally had them placed. Once the statement pieces are secured in place, start filling in areas with the pampas grass and/or leaves. Fill up the area to your desired look, some will go for a simple appearance while others will love a full piece. Glue each of the fillers in place and give the glue a few minutes to set.
These beauties can be placed on a front door, inside a mudroom door, on a wall or hung on an entryway mirror and changed out seasonally.
